Bored At My Grandmas House - Show and Tell

Bored At My Grandma's House – Show and Tell

Bedroom intimacy meets a widescreen haze of guitars. Show and Tell is the debut album from Bored At My Grandma's House, the project of Cumbria-born, Leeds-based songwriter and musician Amber Strawbridge. Blending indie pop, dream pop and shoegaze, it pairs delicately raw songwriting with melodies that cut through the mist.

Strawbridge began recording on her phone before developing a self-taught bedroom production setup. Following the debut EP Sometimes I Forget You're Human Too, this album opens that sound out without losing its personal, handmade character. Soft-focus textures and a brighter pop instinct make it a natural companion for anyone drawn to Alvvays or the more buoyant side of Slowdive.

Put it on for an unhurried afternoon and let the layers unfold, with enough immediacy to catch your ear and enough detail to reward another spin.
