David Fonseca – Between Waves (LP + CD)

Released in 2009, Between Waves is David Fonseca’s fourth studio album and one of the most personal records of his career. Written entirely by Fonseca, who also performed and arranged the majority of the instrumentation himself, it is a carefully crafted pop-rock record with a strong melodic sensibility and an intimate, self-contained quality.

The lead single A Cry 4 Love was released online ahead of the album, and Between Waves went on to reach number one on the Portuguese iTunes chart — Fonseca’s third album to do so. A significant release in contemporary Portuguese pop.
