Ezra Collective - Here Because of Hope

Ezra Collective - Here Because of Hope

Following 2024’s Dance, No One’s Watching, London jazz collective Ezra Collective return with Here Because of Hope, another vibrant celebration of music, community and connection.

Blending jazz with Afrobeat, reggae, soul and contemporary British sounds, the album brings together an impressive range of collaborators. “Only Love”, featuring Pa Salieu, sets the tone, while “Well Organised”, with Jamaican singer Lila Iké, introduces a warm Caribbean influence. “Jubilee Feeling” captures the band's unmistakable energy, with further contributions from Leona Lewis, Libianca and Letitia Wright.

Full of rhythm, warmth and musical curiosity, Here Because of Hope continues Ezra Collective’s journey beyond traditional jazz boundaries: music made to bring people together, whether on the dance-floor or around a record player.
