A Hero's Death is the second album from the Dublin post-punk band, released in 2020 following the huge success of their Mercury Prize-nominated debut Dogrel. More patient, darker and more reflective than its predecessor, it captures the band grappling with sudden acclaim and the psychological weight of life on the road.

The result is a bruised but beautiful record — philosophical, hypnotic and unmistakably Fontaines D.C.
