Fontaines D.C. – Dogrel is the debut album from the Dublin post-punk band, released in 2019. Driven by Grian Chatten’s insistent vocals and the band’s raw, rhythmic energy, the record introduced a group whose sound felt both urgent and timeless.

Formed by Chatten, Conor Deegan III, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley and Tom Coll, Fontaines D.C. emerged from Dublin’s poetry and DIY music scene with a style that blends sharp spoken-word lyricism with driving, guitar-led post-punk. Dogrel captures that early intensity — direct, melodic and full of restless momentum.
