Getdown Services - Crisps

Getdown Services – Crisps

Getdown Services turn everyday frustration into a restless mix of disco grooves, rock riffs and sharp observations on their debut album, Crisps. Josh Law and Ben Sadler move between proto-punk, new wave, krautrock and electro, with flashes of gospel adding another unexpected turn.

Evil On Tap channels the grind of work, money worries and repetitive routines into a full-throttle rock release, while I Wish It Didn’t Bother Me reveals a more introspective side. The title track leans into their apocalyptic disco sound, bringing dancefloor energy to a record that refuses to settle into one style.

Raucous, playful and pointed, Crisps is a record for turning up when the everyday needs shaking off.
