Demon Days is the second studio album from Gorillaz, released in 2005, and the record that firmly established Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s virtual band as one of the most inventive projects in modern pop. Building on the foundations of their debut, the album expanded the Gorillaz universe through a wide network of collaborators — De La Soul, MF DOOM, Neneh Cherry, Roots Manuva and Shaun Ryder — blending hip-hop, dub, electronic music and alternative pop into a dark, cinematic soundscape.

The Grammy-winning Feel Good Inc., alongside Dirty Harry and DARE, helped turn Demon Days into a defining record of the 2000s. More than just a hit album, it cemented Gorillaz as a multimedia cultural project — combining music, animation, artwork and storytelling in a way few artists had attempted before.
