Jalen Ngonda - Doctrine Of Love

Jalen Ngonda – Doctrine Of Love

Jalen Ngonda follows his 2023 debut Come Around and Love Me with Doctrine Of Love, a second album built on soulful melodies, pop instinct and a deep love of classic soul. Rich horn arrangements and gospel-kissed backing vocals broaden his sound without losing its raw grit and groove.

Opening with Anyone in Love, the record brings together orchestral warmth and an immediate melodic touch. Its guiding idea is compassion: love as the starting point for the way we think, act and connect with others. That spirit runs through an album that balances heartfelt songwriting with the energy of a performer whose craft has been sharpened on the road.

For listeners drawn to vintage soul textures with a contemporary pulse, Doctrine Of Love is a record to settle into, turn up and return to.
