Released in May 2024, Big Swimmer is King Hannah's second studio album and a significant step forward from their acclaimed debut I'm Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me. The Liverpool duo — Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle — recorded it in Nashville with producer Josh Kaufman, and the change of setting is audible throughout.

Spacious, unhurried and deeply atmospheric, the album draws on Americana and country without losing the band's distinctly British sensibility. Merrick's voice carries the record with quiet authority — intimate and assured, never overreaching. A confident and absorbing second album from one of the most distinctive acts in contemporary indie.
