Released in the summer of 1979, In Through the Out Door went straight to number one in both the US and UK and went on to become six-times platinum. It would also, sadly, be the last studio album Led Zeppelin recorded before the death of drummer John Bonham the following year.

The record shows a band still experimenting and stretching their sound, with keyboards taking a more prominent role alongside classic Zeppelin muscle. Fool in the Rain and All My Love remain rock radio staples, balancing groove, emotion and craftsmanship. Remastered by Jimmy Page, this release also comes in expanded editions featuring previously unreleased rough mixes and early versions of every track — a fascinating glimpse into the band’s creative process. A reflective, underrated chapter in the Zeppelin story.
