“Viva La Muerte!” is the 16th album by Mão Morta, released on 17 January 2025.

It features nine conceptual musical pieces composed with the “Viva La Muerte” performances, scheduled for 2025, in mind. This is the origin of “Viva La Muerte!”, recorded, mixed and mastered by Zé Nando Pimenta at Arda Recorders in Porto between September and October 2024.

Alongside the band members – Adolfo Luxúria Canibal (vocals), Miguel Pedro (drums and electronics), António Rafael (keyboards and electronics), Vasco Vaz (guitar), Ruca Lacerda (guitar and drums), and Rui Leal (bass and double bass) – the album also features a male choir composed of Fernando Pinheiro (director), Lucas Lopes, Jorge Barata, Paulo Santos Silva and Tiago Regueiras.

Adolfo Luxúria Canibal wrote all nine lyrics, while the music was composed by Miguel Pedro and António Rafael, with arrangements by the band.
