Released in September 2022 via Alcopop! Records, Reality Cheques is the fifth studio album from Leeds alternative rock band Pulled Apart By Horses — and one of their most self-determined. This exclusive Alcopop! edition arrives in a striking hand-screen-printed yellow sleeve, individually printed by band members Tommy and Rob themselves, and is limited to just 100 copies.

Recorded at The Nave in Leeds and produced by the band alongside Matt Peel (Menace Beach, Cowtown, Grammatics), the album was mixed by Peel and mastered by John Davis (Led Zeppelin, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Blur) at Metropolis Studios in London. Lead single “First World Problems” introduced the record with the band’s trademark mix of explosive riffs and sharp-edged humour, earning radio support from BBC 6 Music and Radio X, alongside coverage from NME, DORK and Upset.

After a period of rest and reflection following their critically acclaimed fourth album The Haze, Reality Cheques finds the Leeds quartet moving forward with renewed clarity and full creative control. Loud, urgent and self-determined.
