Shame - Food For Worms

Shame – Food For Worms

Food For Worms finds Shame opening up their sound and turning their attention outwards. Centred on friendship and the bonds between five bandmates, the album moves beyond their post-punk beginnings into a broader mix of tense atmospheres, direct lyrics and more melodic songwriting.

Produced by Flood and recorded live in the studio, the songs retain their rough edges, capturing the push and pull of musicians playing together. Rather than chasing perfection, Shame make vulnerability and spontaneity part of the record’s character.

An album for turning up and taking in as a whole, Food For Worms balances restless energy with a warmer sense of connection.
