The Blitz Winklepicker Zip Boot is an allgender low ankle boot constructed on an original 1950s winklepicker last, with three straps and buckles and a front face zip feature.

In the 14th century, long-toed shoes called poulaines were de rigueur for fashionable young noblemen. In 1950s Britain the winklepicker made its reappearance alongside the creeper as the shoe of choice for the Teddy Boy movement. Through the 1960s they were embraced by Mods, and by the 1980s their countercultural cache was firmly established — further reinforced when adopted by new wavers and new romantics. The winklepicker endures as the original shoe for non-conformists.

Blitz Boots are an original 1980s design favoured by the Blitz kids frequenting the iconic Blitz club. A trident of straps and buckles and a front zip are the main features of this below-ankle boot. Available in leather and vegan-friendly materials.
