Squid - Cowards (Clear LP)

Squid – Cowards

Cowards circles a single theme: evil. Across nine tracks, its characters move through cults, charisma and apathy, with real and imagined figures caught between intention and consequence.

The record expands Squid’s scope while sharpening the structures beneath their restless sound. Repetition, restraint and release build the tension, refining the trajectory of Bright Green Field and O Monolith into something less concerned with escalation and more with control.

Recorded at Church Studios with Marta Salogni and Grace Banks, and shaped further by longtime collaborator Dan Carey, Cowards rewards close listening with detail beneath its instability.
