Released in April 2024, All Born Screaming is Annie Clark’s sixth studio album as St. Vincent and her most self-directed to date — written, produced and largely recorded by Clark herself in her home studio. The result is a record that feels raw and uncompromising, built around blistering guitars, bold vocal performances and a production aesthetic that prioritises texture and intensity over polish.

Themes of mortality, transformation and creative survival run throughout, giving the album a weight that rewards close listening. One of the most distinctive and fully realised records of 2024.
