Steely Dan - Aja

Steely Dan – Aja

Released in 1977, Aja pairs jazz-inflected structures and restrained grooves with meticulous studio craft. Built with outstanding session players, it reflects Donald Fagen and Walter Becker’s precision as composers and producers, with every performance and arrangement shaped for clarity.

Its appeal lies in the detail: controlled rhythms, richly layered textures and a mix that rewards attentive listening. An album to settle into, where the polish serves the music rather than overwhelming it.

Format: Vinyl LP.
