Woman is The Doors’ sixth and final studio album with Jim Morrison — a loose, blues-drenched record that strips back the psychedelia of their earlier work in favour of something rawer and more direct. Riders on the Storm, Love Her Madly and the title track are among the most enduring songs in their catalogue.

Recorded in just a few weeks at their own rehearsal space, the album has an immediacy that sets it apart. A fitting final statement from one of rock’s most singular bands.
