Darker and more electronic than their previous work, it finds the band pushing into new sonic territory without losing the emotional precision that defines them.

Tracks like The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness, Guilty Party and Day I Die balance tension and tenderness with the band’s characteristic restraint.
