Jack and Meg White stripped rock back to its raw essentials — guitar, drums and voice — and produced one of the defining rock albums of the decade.

Seven Nation Army, with its iconic bass-line riff, became one of the most recognisable songs of the 21st century. Black Math, Ball and Biscuit and The Hardest Button to Button are equally ferocious. A monumental record, dedicated to the death of the sweetheart.
