Tiago Bettencourt – Foz

Foz, the artist's eighth studio album, took shape over the course of two years through a collection of sketches, reflections and periods of solitude. The process culminated in an artistic residency in Bruson, Switzerland, where he withdrew to experiment with synthesisers and home-recorded instruments captured in his living room.

Back in Lisbon, the album was co-produced with Fred Ferreira, while the final mixes were handled by Charlie Beats — an unexpected collaboration that brought the project to a close with remarkable precision and sensitivity.

A restless creative spirit, a refusal to follow familiar paths, and a complete devotion to songwriting and composition run throughout the record, each track capturing fragments of the places and experiences that shaped its creation.

Foz represents a new beginning: an invitation to slow down, reflect, and listen more deeply.
