Released in 2022, Wet Leg is one of those debut albums that arrives fully formed — sharp, confident and impossible to ignore. The Isle of Wight duo of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers built their sound quickly, recording the album in London before most people had even heard their breakout single Chaise Longue. The result is a record that feels immediate, instinctive and completely self-assured.

Blending indie rock with punk attitude and a dry, offbeat sense of humour, the album thrives on contrast — playful and sarcastic on the surface, with moments of genuine vulnerability slipping in between the wit.
