Five Songs is the first physical release from Brighton noise-punk band DITZ, collecting the early tracks that established them as one of the most ferocious new voices in the UK underground guitar scene.

Released via Alcopop! Records, the EP brings together key singles including Seeking Arrangement, Gayboy and Total 90, alongside the band’s limited-edition cover of Peaches’ Fuck The Pain Away, originally issued on a now-rare novelty pressing.

DITZ built their reputation on chaotic, unpredictable live performances rooted in hardcore punk and noise rock traditions. That energy carries into these recordings — abrasive guitars, heavy effects and sudden dynamic shifts that cut against the grain of their post-punk contemporaries. Urgent, noisy and confrontational, Five Songs captures the foundation of the sound that would later evolve into their debut album The Great Regression.
