Released in 2014, Lost in the Dream is the third album from Philadelphia's The War on Drugs and the record that announced them to the world. Recorded over eight months across studios in North Carolina and New York City, it was painstakingly assembled by Adam Granduciel — perfectionist, gear obsessive and the band's driving force.

Expansive and immersive, the album draws on classic American rock — the atmospherics of Pink Floyd, the melodic sweep of Dire Straits, the heartland warmth of Springsteen — and fuses them into something wholly its own. From start to finish it doesn't let up. Pressed on double vinyl.
